You can access our website home page and browse our site without disclosing your personal data.

Information Collection and Use

Port Credit Volleyball Club (PCVC) is the sole administrator of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement without the consent of the user (except as required by law or in the case of imminent physical harm to the user or others).

Membership Information

PCVC will collect and use your details to inform you of upcoming events and offers, to anticipate and resolve problems you may encounter, and to inform you of any changes to the club’s terms and conditions.  You may opt out of receiving emails if you wish.  We do not store credit card information or any payment credentials. For documentation purposes we are required to keep records of PCVC membership for 10 years. These records are stored on printed media.

Log Files

We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

This web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that PCVC is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each website that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this website.

Information collected by third-party services

We may use third-party services to collect information such as for surveys, membership, tryout and tournament registration. While forms used to collect that information may be embedded within our site, the data is not stored on our site. The privacy of the collected information will be governed by the privacy policy of the third-party service.

Newsletter

If a user wishes to subscribe to PCVC’s newsletter, contact information such as name and email address will be required.  When you register as a member you have the option to enroll in receiving club updates by email. You may opt out at any time. If you are not a member you may sign up for the PCVC newsletter. Each newsletter will contain a link which will allow you to unsubscribe. If you unsubscribe, PCVC is not liable for any disruption that may result due to missed communication.

Surveys

From time-to-time our site requests information via surveys. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether to disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as postal code, age level). Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving services offered by PCVC.

Cookies

We may use cookies to record session information, such as items that you add to your PCVC shopping cart when you register for the league, events, or tournaments.

Security

This website takes every precaution to protect all information collected. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line. Personal information collected on the website is stored in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public. We use reputable service providers such as PayPal to handle our payment processing. We do not store, nor do we have access to userids or passwords used to access payment providers. Credit card information is not stored in our database.

Legal Requests & Emergencies

We cooperate with law enforcement inquiries and demands for information that are made under force of law. Therefore, we may provide personal information to law enforcement agencies in what we believe to be emergency situations, we may provide personal information where required by statute, court order, legal process or lawful authority, and we may provide it to our legal counsel in connection with the foregoing.

Choice/Opt-Out

Users who no longer wish to receive our promotional emails may opt-out of receiving them by following the unsubscribe instruction provided in the email.

Notification of Changes

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on the website so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
