The Port Credit Volleyball Club (PCVC) is recruiting new members 19-years old and over for the 2017-2018 season who have the skills necessary to play semi-competitive volleyball. The PCVC is both a sport and social club, members are encouraged to participate in social activities in addition to playing in the volleyball league and tournaments. For additional information on the league please read this FAQ.
PCVC requires that new prospective members demonstrate the required skill to play at a semi-competitive level. To establish that a new member meets that qualification, a candidate must either:
- Demonstrate their skill level at our tryout session held on August 26th, 2017.
- Be a past-PCVC member or friend of the league whose skills were witnessed by an executive member within the previous calendar year.
- Have played in previous PCVC tournaments and whose skills were witnessed by an executive member within the previous calendar year.
PCVC Tryout Details:
Date: Saturday, August 26th, 2017
Time: 10:00AM – 1:00PM
Location: Carmen Corbasson Community Centre , 1399 Cawthra Road, Mississauga, ON, L5G 4L1.
Participants should come appropriately dressed to play and prepared to participate in drills to demonstrate their volleyball skills.
Thank-you to those of you were able to attend tryouts. We had a chance to see some outstanding volleyball skills in action. We are currently in the process of reviewing our assessments and determining who we can offer memberships to. We expect to have made all determinations by September 7th and Lisa , our membership secretary, will be contacting candidates before that date.
